The tour starts in Manaus. We will pick you up at your hotel at 09.00 a.m. From there we go by private van and private speed boat to all the activities. Lunch and all activities are included in the price. After the tour, we bring you back to your hotel in Manaus.

We will pick you up from your hotel at 9:00 a.m. First, we will go to The Mercado Adolpho Lisboa Port. There we will do a short tour around the market, showing you the food and delicacies of our region. From the Port, we will leave in a private speedboat and go up the famous Rio Negro towards the Meeting of the Waters. At the Meeting of the Waters, our guide will give an explanation of this wonderful phenomenon of the Amazon.
After seeing The Meeting of the Waters we will continue our journey up the Solimões River to a floating house. Here you will have the opportunity to see and feel the power of the Pirarucu (scientific name: Arapaima Gigas). It is one of the largest freshwater fish not only in Brazil but the entire world. This enormous fish can weigh up to 450 lbs. (200 kg). It is one of the iconic symbols of the Northern Region of Brazil.
You will have the chance to feed one of these magnificent animals. For this, you will use a fishing rod with bait, after instructions from the native guide. It is important to emphasize that at no time will the fish be hurt or harmed, and that we at Amazonas Deep Jungle Tours take care of the health of these animals. The whole procedure is done to show the strength and beauty of these giants of the Amazon. We also emphasize that this activity is optional.
In this floating house there is a great diversity of handicraft products that are made and sold by the local residents. You will also be able to observe sloths, snakes, and alligators around this floating house.
Next, we will continue a little further up the Solimões River to Parque Ecológico Janauary. In this park, it is possible to observe wild monkeys. In addition, you will see a lot of Vitória-Régia – an aquatic plant of the Nymphaeaceae family – typical of the Amazon region. You will also encounter one of the symbolic trees of the Amazon, The Samaúma, known as the Queen of the Amazon.
The place is excellent for connecting with nature and capturing some great photos.
It is time for lunch, which will last from noon to 1 p.m. We offer a regional lunch, with typical foods of the region. This lunch will be prepared by natives of the Amazon rainforest.

After lunch, we will go up to the Rio Negro for the main activity, swimming with the dolphins. You will interact with the pink river dolphins, animals found exclusively in the Amazon basin. We emphasize, once again, that none of these animals are mistreated or live in captivity. They are wild animals but have adapted to human beings (natives, like for example Indians and river dwellers) who do not hurt them but who feed and interact with them.
The Amazon Deep Jungle Tours team will give an explanation of why these animals have come into contact with humans and how this unique experience of swimming with dolphins began.
The last activity of this private adventure will be an encounter with an indigenous tribe of the upper Rio Negro basin. The Indians of this incredible tribe will demonstrate one of their ritual dances. You will learn more about their culture and customs, their way of life, and their stories. There is a great variety of exotic foods for you to try.
